I started my data journey in the early 2000s delivering Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server stack.
In the 2010s I started transitioning to more cloud-based projects, working on modern analytical data platforms using Azure Data services. I have worked across multiple industries including retail, finance, insurance, and gaming, and bring a wealth of experience in defining data strategy, data architecture, and building end-to-end data platforms.
In 2021, I gained the Microsoft Data Platform MVP award. I speak at conferences around Microsoft technology and engage in the data community. My MVP profile can be found here.

I started Datahai in January 2020 after over 2 decades in the data space and am adamant that data is fundamental for the success of an organisation. I’ve worked to deliver Microsoft data solutions for most of my working life, starting with SQL Server and transitioning to more cloud focused projects using the Azure Data Platform and Power BI. Now with Microsoft Fabric, I am working on end-to-end solutions within this space.
My approach to providing services is based on a simple process of Advise > Implement > Train. I can advise on best approaches, be hands-on with implementation, then train your teams to empower. With a strong and trusted associate network, I can scale up to meet larger project demands.
Datahai isn't a large consultancy but I focus on working with clients that prefer smaller, more tailored engagements.
